As a Scientist I, Medicinal Chemistry working on the Chemistry department, you will be empowered apply innovative synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry principles and techniques toward the discovery of medicines for oncology based on target protein degradation:

- 適切な薬物様特性を持つ生物学的活性低分子の設計、合成、および特性評価
- 社内及び社外（CRO、製薬企業、学術機関等）との連携
- 有機合成、医薬品化学、創薬の化学的、技術的な背景を広く認識する
- 若手研究者の教育
- Design, synthesize, and characterize biologically active small molecules with suitable drug-like properties
- Collaborate with a broad group of scientists within the Company and with external partners (Pharma, Academia, CRO, etc.) as a key contributor
- Maintain a broad awareness of the scientific and technological landscapes of organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery
- Supervise the team members
必須要件 BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS (Essential)
- 有機化学、医薬科学、化学生物学または関連分野の修士号取得者で、少なくとも3年の創薬における実務経験
- 有機合成科学の研究において、多段階合成、精製、化合物の特性評価の実施経験
- 実験記録の維持、報告書作成能力
- 日本語での円滑なコミュ二ケーション力
- 英文文書の理解、英文レポート、英文メールの作成能力
- 協調性をもって、チーム環境で業務を遂行する能力
- Master’s degree or its equivalent in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or related discipline, with 3 years of focused training or work experience in one or more of protein degraders, bRo5 molecules, combinatorial chemistry, chemical biology, peptide chemistry, tracer synthesis or oncology drug discovery
- Experience in multi-step synthesis, purification, and compound characterization in organic synthetic science research
- Ability to maintain experimental records and write reports
- Ability to communicate smoothly in Japanese
- Ability to understand English documents, write English reports, and write English emails
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- タンパク質分解誘導剤、bRo5分子、コンビナトリアルケミストリー、ペプチド化学、オンコロジー創薬の経験
- データ解析スキル（一般的なソフトウェア使用）
- ケモインフォマティクスやIT技術の知識
- 英語でのコミュニケーション力
- 危険物取扱者（甲種）
- Project lead experience
- Experience in protein degradation inducers, bRo5 molecules, combinatorial chemistry, peptide chemistry, and oncology drug discovery
- Data analysis skills (using general software)
- Knowledge of chemoinformatics and IT technology
- English communication skills
- Hazardous Materials Handler (Class A)
