As a Principal Scientist, Medicinal chemistry working on the Chemistry department, you will be empowered to lead medicinal chemistry team including external CRO members as a manager, and a typical day will include:

役割 POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- ライブラリ設計と構築
- combinational chemistryあるいはhigh throuputのパラレル合成
- 化合物の品質管理と構造確認（LC-MS,HPLC,NMR）
- 自動合成装置・ハイスループットQCの仕組みづくり
- 社内外（製薬企業、アカデミア、CRO）との共同研究推進
- チームメンバーの管理・育成、外部委託先のマネジメント
- Design and construction of compound libraries
- Combinatorial chemistry or high-throughput parallel synthesis
- Automated synthesis equipment and high-throughput QC system development
- Development of automated synthesis systems and high-throughput QC processes
- Promotion of collaborative research with internal and external partners (pharmaceutical companies, academia, CROs)
- Management and development of team members, and oversight of external contractors
必須要件 BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS (Essential)
- 有機化学・医薬品化学関連の博士号
- 5年以上の創薬研究経験
- ライブラリー合成の実務経験
- 英語でのコミュニケーション能力（口語・書面）
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry
- Over 5 years of experience in drug discovery research
- Practical experience in library synthesis
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
望ましい要件 DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- 計算化学・AIを用いたフラグメント設計経験
- TPDや分子間相互作用を考慮した設計経験
- 大規模ライブラリー合成の経験（encoded library等）
- ケミカルスペース探索の知見
- 創薬基盤技術の立ち上げ経験
- Experience in fragment design using computational chemistry and AI
- Experience in design considering TPD or intermolecular interactions
- Experience in large-scale library synthesis (e.g., encoded libraries)
- Knowledge of process chemistry, CMC and toxicological studies
- Experience in establishing drug discovery platform technologies
